My good friend, Rob Ord, created this study plan to prepare his students for MS Theory. Rob has passed MS Theory every time he's sat and is one of the most powerful minds for Theory that there is. Rob and I agree that the methods that most people use to prepare for Theory are not the most effective way to study for the onslaught that is MS Theory and separately we both used a similar method when we were studying. The idea is based on building a solid broad theory foundation and incrementally strengthening and building on that base until one achieves mastery. It also depends a lot on how one correctly loads the information into the brain for maximum retrieval under exam pressure. We reject the common study plan of starting with 4 weeks of France 6-12 months before the exam and writing thousands of flash cards. More important to us is bouncing from topic to topic, visualization of information and frequent quizzing. Below is Rob's StudyTECH manifesto for reference. Feel free to add to the discussion and ask questions about how this can help you in your studies.
